World-leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, BYD, has appointed UpShift, part of the Evolved Group, as its SEO agency partner to deliver major growth plans across Europe.
We won a competitive pitch process at the end of September to deliver all aspects of SEO, including strategy, technical SEO, content, and digital PR, in five key European markets.
BYD is the global leader in NEVs and the third largest automotive brand in the world, based on market capitalisation, selling more electric vehicles than Tesla in the last three months of 2023 to claim the top spot in the sector. The Chinese company, founded in 1995, made a name for itself as a manufacturer of rechargeable batteries – used in smartphones, laptops, and other electronics – and currently employs more than 290,000 people across the globe.
